If anyone is interested in getting out on track at Castle Combe Bristol Pegasus Motor Club are running a Tuition and Track Day at Combe on Saturday the 11th of August.
There are already a couple of MX5’s entered. Only around 6 cars are let out in each batch and there is free tuition available from Combe racing school on a first come first served basis. There are also normally quite a few club members many of whom sprint at the circuit who will come round in the passenger seat if people want any extra hints or tips. Cost is reasonably low for combe as the hire cost is simply divided between those entering with the club not aiming to make a profit. You can also take passengers out for free ( they have to sign on but there is no additional charge ) and tickets can be split between two drivers and/or two cars.
