Hi all

I have a Mk3 2.0i sport PRHT and I want a bit more power but on a limited budget. I am sceptical about  plug in chips but the seller on ebay has great reviews. Has anybody tried these or have any advice. I have included a link to the power box, not the exact one for my model but gives the general idea!

Engines make power by getting fuel and air in and burnt gasses out. The faster you can do that efficiently the better. Modern engines are pretty efficient and if a manufacture could sell you a box to do that better , it would be on the shelf at the Mazda dealer.

You will be better off with a note from your mum than that box.
