Hi Chaps,

My name is George and I live south of Brum. I wanted to come to the area meetups, rides etc etc. The west midlands part of this forum (see link below)

said that there is a dedicated external forum for the west midlands (see link below)

I cant for the life of me figure out how to register, and I did email last week a guy called Cerberus from the contact us page from the phoenixfives.org.uk asking how to register but I have not received a reply.

Can anyone give them a nudge?

Hi there. Your message suggests that you are a newcomer to the forum. I live in Solihull and near to the meeting venue at the Kings Arms in Knowle. The West Mids group is evidently internet based, something to which I am not very ‘user friendly’ with, and as a result I have not been a regular attendant at meets. Their website doesn’t seem to have regular contributors, and as far as I can tell there do not seem to be any/many organised rides/runs. I’m sure someone will contact you in due course. Ah right. so the forum is generally just a few people? Do we (as the chaps from west midlands) have any organised gatherings and ride outs?

Cheers mark, I have seen the facebook group but it didn’t seem that is active - mainly admin posts.

The South West Midlands and North West Midlands also will welcome you to there meet ups,
plus there are lots of MX5/Any car Forums that do plenty of meet ups , this is what I tend to do.

yup I know are some nice routes in the Cotswolds, Shropshire and Hereford so basically looks like I will try get in touch with southwest and see how it goes. cheers
