I like the look of that. Anymore information about the plate holder?
Just a piece of 1.5 aluminium folded on all four sides to form a tray, then curved to suit the shape of the front moulding.
The holes are the same spacing as the originals that held the “Tupperware” plinth so the plastic bolts now hold both the plinth and the number plate.

Good job, I think that looks really smart.
I agree. Much better than the plastic plinth
I agree it looks good, but I achieved an almost identical result by simply spraying the oroginal black moulding with silver spray paint. Looks OK to all who have seen it.
I also ‘modified’ the original NC honeycomb-pattern front grille by highlighting the outer rib faces in silver marker - looks the mutt’s nuts, (just like a stainless steel job) though I say so myself. Would post a pic if I could…but my pooter won’t let me.

After seeing your number plate plymth. I no longer have the access to folders aluminium sheet, so I came up with this off of eBay.
Not a custom fit like yours but still far better than the Tupperware box.
Very nice. I took the plinth off my 2.5 a while ago and just screwed the plate to the bumper
I really like this.Looks very professional
I did plan on making a batch of these when work gets a bit slack.
Plans like this are a sure fire way of keeping busy.
