Has anyone used it on their wheels, mirrors etc. I am looking to change my wheels and mirrors to black and put an offset stripe down the drivers side. Looked at some videos and it seems to be an inexpensive way to get a good finish. 

 

Looking at using black and then gloss to create a gloss black finish for my mirrors and wheels and then putting a twin matt stripe on. 

 

Anyway, any experiences would be appreciated

Wouldn’t powder coating give a better result, don’t think plasticote is meant for metal surfaces bug I could be wrong.

Its total garbage, don’t waste your money.

 

I know 2 people who have had it done and it peeled pretty easily…right up to the point that it was to be removed then it stuck like snot on a mohair jumper
