My 2012 Kuro Mk 3.5 has an existing radio / CD player who’s is ok but I would like to play music that I have downloaded to a usb memory stick. I am unable to play the music as there is no interface. I purchased a long time ago a device that plugs into the back of the radio and sits in the glove box. It worked ok for a while and then kept cutting out and defaulted back to the radio each time. This gradually go worse to the point where it does not work at all. After many attempts I got nowhere with the supplier.
Does anyone know of a device I can buy, relatively cheaply, to play the music from my memory stick. Do not want to go to the expense of buying a new radio.
Thanks in advance
Have you got a USB socket in cubby between seats?
Had four Mk3s 2012-2014 and all recognised USB Thumb Drive with music files and able to select/play through standard ICE
I stream my music from my phone via a gizmo that bluetooths to the phone and plays it through the head unit via the aux in socket.
Works perfectly
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately my Kuro edition does not have a USB port anywhere, which is why I found a device that plugs into the back of my radio that had a usb outlet, but it no longer works
Not really an option for me to use my phone, but thanks for your idea
