My MX5 mk1 has the pop up head lights and when you look from the front, it seems that the bonnet is higher than the back edge of the light lids. Can I adjust these easily? If so how?

Pop the lights up, undo the screws that hold the covers on and move the covers up a little. Pop them down to check they align. Repeat until perfect, then do the screws up nice and tight.
Then make sure you don’t lean on the covers when working under the bonnet…
Cheers for the info. I thought it may have been something worse than that.[:D]
If the amount is only a few mm I tend to just pop the bonnet up and get hold of the inner edge of the metal cover and tweak it up - slight bend mind not too much…, the light unit will stay the same and you are just "tuning " the steel cover, mine are nice and flush but even after washing I sometimes need to “tweak”. Mind the metal edge on the covers though, can be sharp.
That’s handy [:D]
Just a slight pull is usually enough, don’t overdo it.
One thought. The rest of the gaps line up don’t they (Like the sides of the bonnet to the wings and front to the bumper) ?
Yes everything else lines up ok. I managed to just pull them up slightly, and everything looks great again.[:D]
Thanks
