Hi all
I have owned a couple of NB’s, both mk2.5’s. and
I’m thinking about buying a mk1 this time around as a practical roadster.

Second that. To be candid, if you are in the market for an old Mx5, a Mk1 is (ironically) probably the safer choice now even being much older as it may well be easier to rot-fix than the Mk2.5. Parts still in abundance anyway…bar specific model Ltd Ed interior trim.
Unless you have the means to nail a genuine highly priced minter.
Don’t ask me how I know!
