- My model of MX-5 is NC3.5 PRHT
Hi all, just wondering what tyre pressures people prefer. Coming from an MGTF I’m used to different sized wheels front and back with differing pressures, so I’m curious if other members have a preferred psi 
I’d start at 2 bar all round then fettle ,tweak, experiment etc. as the conditions/ fancy take you. Personally, 28~29 psi works for me.

I ran my NC2 at 29psi all round and that worked well.

I had the wheels changed recently and asked them to transfer the tyres from my stock wheels to my new wheels. They inflated to around 32-34 psi all round.
Initially it felt fine but above 55-60 mph it felt incredibly skittish. So I asked the same question and was recommended 29 psi all round. Difference was immediate even at rather spirited speeds!
Tyres are 17" standard spec BTW

Defo 29psi all round works fine, don’t get to het up with this one and that you’re be hard pushed to tell the difference with minor changes, unless you’re a pro tyre/vehicle tester
