Problems with Batteries sent in the post by MX5parts?

Anyone else had problems with being sent a panasonic battery in the post where inadequate packaging allowed the item to move around inside the box?

We were sent a Bosch battery by another company that was surrounded by purpose built foam that secured it throughout! No problems!

This is the second panasonic battery sent to us that has had insufficient padding to secure it in transit! Anyone else had this problem with specifically being

sent a Panasonic? Thanks

Hi

A week ago, you asked for advice about the ‘Lion’ battery as compared to gel batteries. You received

good advice, even though it was blindingly obvious that you hadn’t bothered to either look at the relative merits of

Ca, Ca-ca, lead-acid, gel… online, or checked online for what others had said previously about the Lion battery. (very little, therefore unproven).

At the time, I thought your tone seemed a little charmless.

Now 4 days ago, you asked this same question and received little response.

Seems to me that you’ve managed to obtain a genuine Panasonic battery at a previously unheard

of price. (£99 ?).  I’d be quite thankful for that.

Yes! …You would be, wouldn’t you!  How splendid, aren’t you the charming one with such inaccurate and misguided assumptions! xD

A Mazda dealer giving a decent club discount is competitive and no carriage

Mazda dealer quoted me £96 for a new panasonic battery with the 10% members discount. I then found out it was the battery terminals that were faulty, i.e. snapped with poor connection.

Thanks, Mazda dealer without discount is only £107 and secure that it has not been mishandled in transit

or inappropriately packed if being delivered.
