Just wondering if anyone has any information on production numbers for the following paint options on NB models.
I’m aware that this is a long list but whilst looking to buy an NB currently these colours seem to be hardest to come by with the exception of 2/3 splash greens that are listed currently.
Also if anyone knows if the MICA paints are Metallic & Mica or just Mica
Midnight Blue Mica
Strato Blue Mica
Sapphire Blue Mica
Lazer Blue Mica
Splash Green Mica
Crystal Blue Metallic
Blazing Yellow Mica
Lava Orange Mica
velocity Red Mica
Mahogany Mica

Funny you should ask this, as when i got my NB2 in Black Cherry Mica i actually asked Mazda Uk if they had any numbers for the colour - unfortunately they didn’t.
The problem is (especially with Black Cherry) they can be registered as purple or maroon, or even black with the DVLA when they were originally registered by the selling dealer. I do know it is a rare colour, as i have only ever seen a handful pop up for sale, and not seen one in the wild as yet.
Maybe we could have a separate “register” within the forum for known owners of certain colours?

After some digging yesterday I found some information on some of the colours but not sure how accurate it all was eg 1000 Blazing Yellow Mica being produced.
But there was nothing on Black Cherry ANYWHERE.

It really is a stunning colour, love the way the tones all come out under lighting
A separate “register” I think would be a fab idea to give people insight and a chance to show off their cars with each factory option

Black Cherry is also known as Radiant Ebony - it was also used on the NC and i have seen 1 Mazda 2 painted in it as well

You will struggle to find laser/starry blue as it was never offered in the UK, awesome colour though.

Was it a Japanese only option ? Would anyone have had one imported?
Are there any other of the colours that weren’t offered in the UK market?
For Japan only on the Mazdaspeed Roadster model, and it was also an option for the USA.
I suppose its possible one or two may have been imported at some point.

Ahhh I do love the Mazdaspeed wish they had it as an option over here too can imagine an imported one would go for a pretty penny
There was one for sale on this forum not too long back, not sure if the owner is still around.
