I bought a ProScan OBD 2 reader last December and finally got round to using it today on my 06 MK3 import, seems to work but the information is shown upside down and mirror imaged, any ideas?
I have contacted the seller on eBay but thought the forum would be quicker as I’m not confident of actually getting a reply from them.

That’s a strange one Lee. If it is useable and you cannot return it I would leave it as it is. If not it has obviously had a component installed upside down, so I would take it apart carefully and see if there is a possibility of repair.
Replace or refund from seller is the best way forward.
Well I stand corrected, got a reply and quick too, will try tomorrow.
Can you try the reset screen procedure: just plug it in and wait for the screen to light up then unplug it, Do this 5 times and then wait for 60 seconds before plugging it back in. The display should reset to normal. Wait to hear from you. Thanks

Thanks for the two suggestions above, would never ever have thought of that, honestly.
Anyway I tried it again with the supplier’s reset procedure but it worked correctly straight away, went through the menu and all is fine.
