Good luck

My sincere thanks to you sir, you have solved the problem!

The anti-theft module was indeed right behind the kickplate in the passenger footwell. Had to drill out a couple of sheer bolts to get to it.

The red/white signal wire was already present in the connector, however a continuity test with a multimeter showed it wasn’t connected to the rest of loom as I had assumed.

I twisted the wires together for a quick test (green is the new wire running from the signal wire to the anti-theft, orange is the signal wire running from the keyless unit to the boot latch relay).

Everything works! No alarm when popping the boot with the doors locked.

Soldered everything in and tidied up. All finished.

Fortunately, there are 2 threaded studs inboard from the drilled sheer bolts, so I just threw 2 10mm nuts on there and the plate is just as solid as ever.

Thank you again all, hopefully this thread will help others who have encountered this issue!

Nice work retrofitting factory keyless entry. I’m sure many people would be interested to know how you achieved this from beginning to end.

I’ll draw up some wiring diagrams that include everything and do a full write up. It took an age to gather all the info so I’d happily save others the same hassle!
