Hi Everybody, All you need to know about Blyton is in the Sub Menu, If you have any questions please post them here so that everybody interested can see them. Please try and keep them about Blyton only so that there is no confusion.
Peter - it’s not fully clear on the site how to book both a morning session and the afternoon session g I’ve just booked and paid for both separately (so £91) which I suspect is correct, but could you confirm? The wording is not 100% clear.
As Martin has pointed out for every purchase that you select you must add to cart, that will bring up the widow with the total so far, then select back to shopping and select your next purchase followed by add to cart, then check that everything is ok, before selecting check out.
To answer your question you have still booked correctly, just gone the long way about it. I hope we have answered you question for you.
Do you have any details about camping on site and the on-site facilities please? Will there be electric hook available? what cost is on-site camping/caravan?
I’m really excited about my first Bylton (and first proper track day) next month. I consider myself a novice on track, my only track experience is a few careful (~11min) laps of the Nurburgring last summer, there I found myself a bit too cautious and didn’t feel the confidence to carry enough speed through the corners…
I am a little hesitant about which group to book into, Novice or Intermediate? Although I feel I am a novice, my MK1 is ruddy quick; turbo’d to 200+bhp, upgraded brakes and suspension and generally pretty ‘set up’. The description of the intermediate class mentions FI cars should stay there… does that mean I should book as an intermediate (and perhaps have some driving tuition on my first few laps!)?
Come on guys and gals, get those tickets quick, come to the best event the OC do and see what the roadster you own is best at rather than stood still being attacked with polish only, the buzz around the place as all areas get together and gel as one helping each other out is breath taking, if you have never been then you are missing out on what ownership is all about in all ways.
We are there for help and advice if needed which menders is a number of different Co’s that work on these pocket rockets everyday from around the UK getting together as a true collective to give up our weekend to be there for you all.
Get your tickets and see you there come and have a chat.
What’s the policy on a guest(s)? I may bring a housemate with me to Blyton but not sure as to whether they need buy a ticket if they’re just browsing. I know the tickets for sale are for the track sessions (for which I will be in the novice category, my first track day so yay!) which is fine but if I wanted to bring my mate along for a look round and so I’m not on my larry, would that be OK?
If you leave home alone, and arrive alone, you will not STAY alone!!! Tons of other people who will be wanting to make your acquaintance!
Certainly though, you can bring a guest; get them to buy a passenger wristband (£10 I think on the day) and and get them on track with you or with the other load of MX’s that’ll be there.
By the time your guest has finished the day, they’ll want their own MX. Guaranteed!
Hi Jiim, if you feel that you need to take out insurance you will need to contact your insurance company or go on line and search for track insurance. It is entirely your decision should you wish to go down this road.
Not endorsing the product but did notice that one of the Club’s Insurance partners are now offering specific track day cover if you wanted to check it out.
most policies specifically state you will not be insured if you do a trackday or go around the nurburgring, so it will be worth looking at the wording of your policy before letting your insurers know you’re going to do something they don’t want you to
