Now that looks like fun - for the spectators with coats/umbrellas, not so much for the drivers!  Great shots.

Had a great weekend at Silverstone with BRSCC guys; even though dry most of the time, the boys turned the Saturday races into a contact-sport with some pretty messed up Mk3’s (thankfully no serious injuries for the drivers), but everybody in front of the headmaster on Sunday morning.  Much more polite Sunday races, still very close with a ton of skill displayed!

Those photos bring back memories of the late 1960s when I was a student and we used to watch the bike racing.  Somehow it always began to rain after we had arrived.  We never learned and always hoped for a dry day the next time.

Left Weymouth @ 10.00 hrs with hood down arrived @ Castle Combe @ 12.15 with hood very much up, it was coming down in stair rods it eventually cleared up @ around 17.00 hrs when we were leaving soaked to the skin.

The forecast was for light rain between 11.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs returning @ 14.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs.

Usually wet conditions make exciting racing, but that was not the case, didn’t wait until the second Mx 5 race which was scheduled for the final race of the meeting, by then we had to admit defeat & headed home.
