Hi all my car has developed a misfire in low revs but seems to clear after 3200 rpm
Starts and idles fine and not until driving it goes flat and runs on 3 have checked it on code reader and it says p0113 iat circuit high input and also p0300 random misfire detected. Any ideas anyone? Its not lighting the eml up? Thanks.
Yes, that will be the air intake temperature sensor that plugs into the air filter box.
The multi cylinder misfire code is just a generic code resulting from the real problem.
Just change that sensor and hopefully you should be sorted.

Hi rhino I will try that 1st before coils etc, have recently fitted k an n kit and last time I moved the sensor to new home it threw the eml on . So will fit one and see. thanks

I wouldn’t as there is a good chance your mod has caused the issue:-) Any chance of temporarily retrofitting the original air box and filter with temp sensor to see if the problem goes away. Coil units would not give a specific error code on diagnostic and occasionally MAF sensors cause issue without an error code.
That error code has definitely originated from the intake air temperature sensor but thinking about it not convinced this would also cause the misfire issue.
Going to fit new air temp sensor in morning and see if it helps.

Have cleared the code and eml has stayed off but it’s still missing like mad got it booked in at my mechanics on Thursday.
