Thank the gods! Iv’e finally managed to trace that awful rattle!
Thought it was Cat heatshield, bought big jubilee clips, no change. Thought it was exhaust shield, bought smaller jubillee clips… not that either.
Found bolt missing from downpipe bracket, thought that must be it. Fitted new bolt…still rattling!
Sat under car for ages trying to find it, with wife revving engine to 3250 revs. Then I accidentally touched the PPF and the plastic conduit that clips onto it. The rattle stopped!!! Pulled a couple of the plastic clips out and put a few cable ties on and the rattle is gone forever!!!
Can’t believe how loud it was, just from a length of plastic wiring loom!
Anyway, if youve got a rattle and can’t find it try this!!!
