Rattle from MK4 RF

  1. My model of MX-5 is: Mk4 RF__
  2. I’m based near: __Swansea
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __I recently purchased a 2018 RF and it has a rattle rear of diver on driving over bumps and potholes, my local garage has inspected it but can’t find where it’s coming from. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be.

A few members on there have had to tighten their seatbelt mechanism/fixing to fix a rattling noise.

I guess eliminate all the obvious, take everything loose out of the car, like the puncture repair kit and anything else in the boot.

Check all the wheel nuts are tight also.

Also try it with the roof up and down and see if that changes it.

How many miles has it done? There have been some worn rear hub carriers on ND models, but usually after fairly high miles e.g. 40k
