As the kind guys at PhotoSh*t have broken my previous photo links I thought i would reinstate my thread.

So the short-hand being;

About a year ago, purchase a non-running Mk1  - not pretty !

Replaced the engine :slight_smile:

and the set about the body work. Sills and both rear arches

Lots of rubbing down and surface prep

Full repaint :slight_smile:

Now the proud owner of a second Mk1 this time in White

Anyway I’m going to the National Rally in the Red Mk1 and have entered it into the competition, Don’t expect any prizes but it will be good fun. So if any Oxford members are there please come and say hello

Mk1 always was the best - hope you enjoy it as much as the work you’ve put in.

If you haven’t already, i would print those pictures off and display them at the rally.

Now that was certainly a labour of love, and it was worth it!  A great job on a great car!  Well worth a prize for the effort involved alone!  Good Luck!
