One of the four bolts, fixing the crank pulley is rounded off, and I cant budge it… bloody idiots who touched ot last. No room for a spanner, a stud remover, or a drill to make a hole for a stud extracting screw…
Cant even get a grinder in to grind it off…
Sorted, a knock on the socket, gave it just enough grip to turn…
Thermostat housing, water pump and pulleys removed. New camshaft seals fitted…

The simple reason for this info is so that we/I may be able to recommend some local help, there is no point suggesting that you contact Wayne or Autolink if you live in Aberdeen
The car info is also important, the question about removing the bottom pulley is easily answered if we/I know the year and cc of the car…simple really—
Nice job by the way, well docummented with good pics, a good point of reference for the future
I was only pulling your leg Geoff…
The job continues… waterpump and thermostat housing fitted. Cambelt temporarily fitted to keep it out of the way…
More work tonight if it doesnt rain !!
you just need to replace the water pump inlet pipe. It’s on the exhaust side of the engine near the front. You have to move the PAS pump out of the way to get at the 2 bolts holding it on. You will probably need the gasket where it joins the pump as well.
Please ignore all that, I think I replied to a different post, must be my age…
