rear camber

Hey guys I think the camber of my rear passenger side wheel needs adjusting my tyre has worn quite a lot on the inside edge and still looks new on the outside is this the camber? If so is it difficult to alter. If it’s not any ideas what else causes this?

Many thanks Tom

Have a look from behind Tom and see if it looks like it has a lot of negative camber (top of wheel nearer to centre of car). It may be more likely though that the left rear is toed-out which is harder to spot but will wear the inner edge. Best bet would be to take it to a 4 wheel alignment place with a Hunter and they usually charge around £50 for a check with one adjustment and about a tenner each for any extra adjustments.

Had mine looked at and 4 wheel alignment set to factory settings, couldn’t believe how far out it was, and on the road the transformation was very impressive, £50 well spent I say.

Hello Tom, you mean something like this – see picture( hopefully )…

This was before I had my suspension adjusted - they found that the Left rear camber was out by a degree or so…  had to have a new tyre…

see my thread - since this I now have a car which pulls to one side under power…

I am going to check my bushes over thoroughly this weekend - rain pending…
