Rear Chassis Brace with Diff Pickup: Worth it?

I’ve been slowly adding suspension bits to my NB and looking at rear braces I came upon this type. The question is, are they worth it? Do they hurt the differential housing since they are bolted on to it? I guess they act as “traction bars” but I don’t something that might be harmful to the vehicle since it is my daily.

Thanks!

I’ve read a fair bit about the pro’s and cons of these items.
Albeit for my NC.
Good article on Carbon Miata YouTube channel as well as others online.
Conclusion …track only
Unless your willing to put up with harsh vibrations running through the chassis.

Great, so when your slammed car grounds on a speed bump, it will now take a lump of diff carrier with it. Pointless part.

Your car has a rear subframe brace already, added in 1991 to reduce flex in the rear subframe and maintain geometry. You’re now transmitting those forces to a cast alumninium part.

Awesome! Thanks! It did seem like a track oriented upgrade since it takes away mobility from the differential.

I’m not getting one since I still want some comfort.
