Always a personal thing; I justify this on grounds of aerodynamics and weight saving

Got a picture?
What did you do with the holes in the bumper?
I think thats the difference between 3 and 3.5 i had a plinth. i removed the plinth
Yes, it’s a 3.75 and plinth removed
Looks fine, not sure what all the fuss is about.
D
Yeah that’s what I mean. I have plinth too on my NC1
Something like that is what I want to do. Found this one picture of exactly what I’d like to do but I cant get any more info about it:
Here’s a quick photoshop of mine w no plate. I think it look so much better without the ugly plinth!
Tme numbers and letters of my 11 plate MX5 make for a realtively short registration.
I therefore took a saw, a file and some sandpaper to the plate in order to shorten it and round the corners to better suit the curvy nature of the NC
Our dealer back in 1990 supplied a number plate that fills the whole aperture which looks right and we have a stick on front plate
Like the plate
Dont like the spoiler then again I only like the nc1 boot
Forget the plate whats with the Ford ST badge
Wow! So judgemental. Soft top
Wait until you see my fluffy dice on the mirror
I’d be more concerned about the ST trim rather than the shape of the number plate
Fine. But then I could perhaps say the same about the rear bumper and boot. It’s a subjective thing. If you’re happy with it, that’s all that matters.
Nothing in my opinion either.
It looks far better than a mismatched Rover jobby that doesn’t even fit or indeed look right at all.
Wow! Don’t hold back will you!
Opinions vary… do what YOU want to do.
And to quote the famous philosopher Thumper, referring to some responses above:-
“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all”
