Afternoon all,
I’m currently in the process of refurbing the rear subframe on my Mk1 1.8. The frame and differential have now been installed but i’m unable to find the torque settings for the subframe and differential bolts. I’ve done the usual searches and came across the workshop manual, but this has the suspension arms, PPF, gearbox and engine specs but nothing on the subframe or diff itself. Would any of you know what this would be?
Thanks in advance and apologies if this has already been listed in the forum, but I couldn’t find anything on this.
Dan
Have you come across Mellens ?? I don’t have it to hand but a quick Google might show up?
This might just be what I need, thanks for this.
Thanks for the link on the documents, unfortunately this didn’t have anything on the subframe nut and bolt specification. Anyone else have any ideas?
Many of the books have a torque spec table near the end
I saw setting for the front but not for the rear subframe. I take another look later with fresh eyes.
Thanks for the link though.
The numbers outside of the brackets are Newton Meters
This is perfect, thank you so much Robbie.
