Rear suspension arm ball joint cover

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: rear ball joint cover / gaiter

Hello, looking for advice, I’ll start by saying I’m not very au fait with the rear suspension setup but Mr MoT man has suggested new ‘dust covers’ as soon as possible on the suspension arm ball joint, apparently I need two per side…

Are these readily changeable for someone reasonable with spanners, looks like there’s 4 each side in total ?

All boots are available from mazda but some require pressing on. There is a mazda special tool.

Thanks for the links, I did see that some in the US use pipe joints to press the new ones on but couldn’t find replacements anywhere, I’ll have to double check which ones it is and then give mazda a call.

If two each side need doing I might bite the bullet and do them all…
