Rear window renovation on a mk1

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __removing scratches and misting from my plastic rear window. The only good product seems to be Hindsight polish which is £45. I have used a similar product on a previous mk 1 but cant remember what the product was.

Don’t think these products actually remove scratches, just mask them.

I think of all the products I tried, multiple attempts with Brasso in addition to normal car and also fiberglass polish finally got mine to a point that there was something visible through it (that’s how bad mine was when I bought it).

This as always worked for me…

Just depends on how badly scratched it is really to pull it back, a rear deck window envelope will help save the window from getting damaged when down, the rear deck carpet is harsh to it.
