A massive thank you to all of you who replied to my question as to your thoughts about the RF versa Recaro as I was just not sure what way to jump for my next MX5.
Thinking everything through and taking account of all the advice and comments I went for the Recaro and he came home yesterday 
The sun shone on the way home and that roof came down, pure bliss and what a car. Thanks again everyone, Mickey 3 is now safely tucked up in the garage awaiting next outing
Congratulations! I am puzzled, however, as I have an RF with Recaro seats (an OEM option here from Mazda Austria called Revolution Top). What do you actually have? Can you post a photo, please?

Hi David - the 2.0 Sport Recaro was a limited edition MX5. Mazda only made 600, 200 in Soul Red and 400 in ceramic metallic . I’ll take a couple of pictures and post them
Sounds cool! Was this only made for the UK? Which year? Were there other customisations? These different names for different countries make international conversations a bit challenging. Pictures would be super.

Nice car! Actually, the wheels look identical to those that Mazda sold me in December for my winter tyres.

The Recaro model wheels came in a slightly different paint finish with MX-5 imprinted on the rim
