Recommendation For Scratch Repairer, Sheffield

Hi, just wondering whether anybody can recommend a repairer in the Sheffield area who can fix a 4" long scratch on one of my rear wheelarches?  Caused by squeezing past the car in my garage with a bunch of keys in my pocket - unknown to me, one of the keys was hanging out of my pocket…!

It’s not too bad & I’ve touched it in for now - at the end of the day the car’s 7 years old & the front bumper for example is covered in stonechips so while the car’s in very good condition it wasn’t absolutely immaculate before this happened - but I was just wondering whether I might be able to get the scratch invisibly repaired to a good standard?  I certainly don’t want to have the whole panel painted.

Edit - To be honest, I’m in two minds about getting it done however if anybody else’s had something like this fixed to a really good standard then I’d probably look at getting it sorted.

He repaired our daily driver and made first class job of a long, deep scratch, he painted my brothers BMW after it had been damaged, and again a really good job

UPDATE

A couple of folk who I know are extremely particular about their cars spoke very highly of Chris at BMV Cosmetic Car Repairs, who are a local company near me.  Hence I contacted BMV via their website, which has the facility for enquirers to upload photos of the damage & Chris responded promptly with a very reasonable quote.  I then booked the car in for today, which was BMV’s earliest available slot (a 4 week wait - in my opinion it was a good sign that they’re busy).

The scratch was repaired on my driveway this morning & I’m pleased to say that Chris has done a really cracking job, I honestly can’t tell that any paint damage was ever there & it literally is just as good as new both in terms of colour match & finish.

I’d definitely use BMV again (although I hope that I never have to!)

hi andy ,
i know everything is relative , but my son has just scratched his 18 plate golf GTD and is gutted !!! would it be too cheeky to ask what sort of price ???
