Does any one know what this red light is for
(Eunos roadster) 
im new to owning a mk1
I’m thinking rear high-intensity fog light. Is it a switch though, or just a lamp let into a blanking plate? Looks like you already have a switch for the rear fog - the left one of the three, which looks like a genuine Mazda switch. Maybe yours is a bigger tell-tale light for the rear fog…?
If the rear fog is wired in properly, it should only come on when the main beam headlights are on.
If not that, then some after-market immobiliser or alarm warning light?

Yeah, tally lamp for the rear foglight would be my guess too. Roadster didn’t come with a foglight so they get added when they arrive in the UK. MOT requires a lamp on the dash to indicate to the driver that the fog light is on.

alarm light on mine but it could be anything
It’s not standard, so folks can only hazard a guess as to what it is.
The only sure fire way to know what it is is to follow the wires and see where they go, or of it illuminates when you switch something on.
