I don’t suppose anyone on here still has a reel to reel recorder with some empty spools. I need an empty spool for a Sony deck I have picked up from my Dad but the spool already has tape on it and no empty spool in sight!
I believe there are different size reels for different models
Actually my dad is mega into that stuff, we have a few Revox’s around. let me know the make/model and I can ask him if he has anything compatible.

Have txt him the info, worth a go as I think he inc told me the splines are universal on the reels.
I’m guessing you had no luck? I set it up over Xmas and discovered that it’s not running anyway, so needs some repair or I need to find a replacement or someone who had a R2R I can use to transfer the tapes to digital.
