Hi,
I have spray tinted my reflectors on my mk1 eunos, they are pretty much black, are the reflectors a legal requirement for the MOT to pass?
If so Ill have a spare unsprayed) set at the ready!!
Thanks

To be sure why not pop in to a local MOT place and ask them?

Have a look at this link. Which I have
taken from this thread.

Which I take to mean that there is no
requirement to have side reflectors.
I thought she meant the reflectors in the rear light cluster, silly me.
Awesome thank you!!
To be honest I didn’t think that the side reflectors would be a requirement as they are not standard on all cars but you know what they are like nowadays with stupid rules etc!
My rear lights and side repeaters are tinted very dark also but I did not do this and they were bought as ‘road legal’ so fingers crossed they will be ok!

The mot manual says rear reflectors must
Face the rear
Be the correct colour
Be in good working order and in a clean condition
Not be obscured, at least 50% must be visible from the rear
5.securely fitted
However there is a note about effects of paint rendering the reflector inoperative causing a failure for obscurity, but at the end of the day it all comes down to the mot person carrying out the test, something like that i’d imagine would be a pass and advise! Hope this helps!
