I have mk3.5 and when I lock the doors with the remote fob the lights have stopped flashing, the doors still lock just no flashing to indicate they have worked.
is it a fuse? any ideas, please
Do they flash on locking.?
Ive just checked mine and they don’t flash on locking but they do flash when I unlock it.
Same as my RX8 as well. Maybe a Mazda thing?
Well they did work but they’ve just stopped I think it may be the bonnet switch looking for Confirmation
It’s a strange one with the Mk3. Mine seems to flash sometimes others not. It seems to not flash the indicators when I’ve operated the locks 2-3 times in succession, the boot lid dropped when the car is locked always flashers the lights.
Yes, it could be that or the boot switch. Definitely should be one 4-way indicator flash on lock and two flashes on unlock. If boot or bonnet are not closed, then, as a warning, the indicators don’t flash as you lock the car. If you lock the car with the boot open, then the indicators will flash as you then close the boot.

Yes, check all the doors, boot, bonnet, roof and filler are properly shut.
