Hi. I’m looking out for a removable hardtop for my ND. I can find a motorsport only version available rom Mazda which is gorgeous and several thousand pounds I think, also an aftermarket GRP roof in the USA, but none here yet. Any advice? Thanks.

Mazda do make a hard top. Unfortunately it costs around £30k but does come with a free MX5. It’s called the RF…
Some picture I’ve found online suggest that if you remove the little plastic fillet near the front of the boot lid, some fittings will be found underneatH. I’d guess they were installed in readiness for the motosport top, but not sure.
Try Rev 9 (if you have deep pockets) they would likely know if there was one.
Yes they have factory fixing points that are hidden.
Mazda do a removeable hardtop but it’s only available to Global Cup MX-5 racers.
There are aftermarket versions in USA but they’re quite ugly, the porcorosso one in Japan looks decent

Thanks for the responses. I’ve been on a webchat with Rev9 (thanks Ian) and they are looking into it. It all feels like it will be costly, though. But it would be a rare beast indeed, given that most will go for the RF.
