I’m tryin to remove the thermostat housing as one of the small pipes have eroded any pointers
No not from me, but what you’ll be asked by others is which MK of MX5 - always helps to include full details
The inner housing is bolted to cyl head ,behind timing belt.There are also two sizes in the small pipes.We have some if you need one.Year etc as above
It’s not a straight forward job if you are not confident on spanners
you need to remove the camshaft drive pulleys and then reset the timing
it is has easy to do the timing belt and water pump at the same time
alternatavly if it is the t off piece you can just slide a pipe all the way over the exciting one a make a t further down, I did this until I had time to replace the part correctly
