Renting a large garage/workshop for 9 days in Sheffield

Hello fellow MX5 owners.

A friend and i both recently bought Eunos roadsters and love them. 

 

We both enjoy working on the cars, but live about 3 hours apart. We had the idea of taking a week off work, getting together and working on our cars together (as it’s always more fun).

 

We are looking to rent a space that would be big enough to fit both cars with space to work around them and power. However, we would only want the space for about 9 days (a week plus the weekends both sides). Would be willing to pay ~£200 (thought that looked more than fair based on rental prices for such spaces pcm).

 

Does anyone have any ideas about where we might find such a space? I tired looking into some small industrial units, but they laughed at me when i said i only wanted it for just over a week (their minimum contract was 2 years). Have looked on gumtree too for ads for storage/workshop/garage rentals and placed a wanted ad myself.

 

Any advice welcomed.

Are you close to any farms? Might be worth approaching a local farmer and asking if they will rent you some barn space?
