I have a 1.8 nc 2011 that’s in need of a new engine.
Rather than just sourcing a good used 1.8 , is it possible to fit a 2.0 or a 2.5 fairly easily does anyone know?

I’ve not done it.
The main issue I’ve heard is that the 1.8 doesn’t have VVT, therefore the wiring is different and I think you need an different 2.0 ECU. There might be immobilizer issues to this.
People have done it so don’t be too put off, but it isn’t as simple as some people make out.
Ah that’s a shame , I could not find that much info on it . Sounds like it would need engine and full wiring kit I guess .
