I have a 2010 car which I have had for a year now. When I got it there was a slight hole on the carpet on the drives side against the transmission tunnel. I think this was caused by high heels, the previous owners not mine! It seems to have got more noticeable of late. Does anyone know where I can get a good quality replacement?
The original is all one piece I think so a big job new from the dealer or secondhand from a breaker maybe. I’d see about getting it repaired or diy in situe by tidying the hole and letting in a new piece with a backing glued across it. This is quite common for domestic carpet repairs when some fool (me) lets a glue gun drip a pool on the lounge carpet but the repair by a good fitter was truly magic. Maybe give these people a ring they may do fitting/repairs or know someone who does http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/products/5146-interior-cockpit-moulded-carpet-set-rhd/ or put car carpet trimmers into google for one near you.
