Hello everybody - I’m looking to replace the shocks on my mk1 1.8is and was just looking at the koni str.t kit but the problem I have is that my mx5 has abs and therefore the mounting posts for the abs cable is on the shock body which the koni shocks don’t seem to have - just wondered if anybody out there has upgraded their shocks on an abs mx5 and how they got around this problem - or am I missing something?
Many thanks in anticipation - Chris
Replaced mine about 2k miles ago with Gaz adjustables. Same problem; I just ignored the abs cable mounting.
Jubilee clip, cable tie?
Pete
I was warned off the Koni Street kit as a low budget, not Koni standard gear. They are not repairable like other Konis.
Thanks for the advice - could anybody suggest alternatives to the koni str.t kit - don’t want to spend a fortune on suspension!
