Hi
One of the cables snapped on the NA Eunos a couple of weeks back, so I purchased a replacement kit from MX5 Parts.
This has come without any instructions, so wondered if there is a link anywhere to explain how to change the cables?

Its a pain. I last did this 20 years ago, and it wasn’t worth doing then. The Veloce manual contains the wrong instructions.
I see that MX5Parts are selling these cables for a reasonable price now and it is always the same one that goes. Hopefully in your case just a snapped cable and the nylon drum that holds the cable has not been butchered by the old broken cable and attempts to use the window after it broke.
Take the advice of the last reviewer on MX5Parts reviews for these cables and read through the other reviews where some real experience with fitting explained.
It is possible and I have done it but a fiddly process and one to be avoided when the cables were sold at more than twice the current price.
Take your time and don’t twist or trap the cable. If the cable is twisted or otherwise damaged when being fitted, the situation cannot be retrieved.
Well, in the end, it was pretty straight-forward… and only took a couple of hours.
A couple of tips - make a note of which holes the 3 cable clips clip into, and measure/mark exactly where the window stop are, so that they go back in correctly.
If you are going to do this, I would recommend watching this video several times first, as much to get familiar with all the bits, as for the instructions.
