Replacing radio and speakers

I have a 2006 NC3 with the original radio cd player but am looking to upgrade to one with Apple car play, anyone got any recommendations for a supply and for in the Yorkshire area.
Thankyou

Best bet is the internet if your willing to fit yourself?

So much choice, great deals to be had and it’s a one stop shop for all your connections , facia’s etc that may be needed for the swap.

Not sure I have the skills or confidence to be honest…will have a look at good old YouTube :man_shrugging:t2:

Dynamic sounds online will have most stuff.
Search around this forum for ideas and how to fit/ remove the original head unit, many many posts about the subject, even YouTube videos.
Basically decide if you have a standard head unit or a Bose one. Bose you’ll need slightly different leads to fit the new unit and you can’t really replace the speakers. If you have a non Bose unit then it’s easier to replace the speakers too.
You’ll need a facia fitting kits, steering wheel controls leads and of course your choice of head unit. I’ve found JVC/Kenwood a decent brand followed by Pioneer. Can be found online or at the above company mentioned, you can also buy thea ove mentioned parts as a kit, all in from there too.
Costs have risen too on these parts, expect to pay over £100 for the fitting kit and probably £300 plus for a decent head unit, maybe wireless if you shop around. Many cheaper android units on your usual shopping places, some are questionable quality if you fancy a dabble in those, some members have had some really good buys and fitted these I’ll add.

Fairy straight forward, one awkward 10mm bolt I believe tucked up under dash to remove before you can pull stereo out.
Like you say …You Tube

Agree with others - almost plug and play once you have the parts.
