Anyone done this.
I was cleaning the seatbelts on my S-Limited, which came up a treat, but I noticed a slight nick in the webbing, where it may have chaffed against the plastic trim of the seat. It may have been there for ages, and maybe its a MOT fail. I can’t though “un-notice” it, even if the MOT inspector isn’t bothered. S-Limited belts are as rare as hens teeth. Securon sell inertia reel belts with red webbing for £100, but I’ve never heard of anyone using these. There are various companies that can replace webbing on a belt, but are these an economic option. The passenger belt is perfect.

UPDATED: FDTS can re-web a belt for £29 plus VAT, any colour, 2 day turn around. Very fast in responding to a query. They are unlikely to exactly match the red S-Limited webbing, but have lots of different shades of red, and are sending me swatches. The original belts scrubbed up to a surprisingly bright red, so might try a darker shade, as it seems I will be having both belts refurbed. Unfortunately means a perfect S-Limited belt will have to be scrapped, due to the use of red seatbelt guides.
