Return of Suffolk based former member

Hello all,

After we sold our last MX5 some years ago, we allowed our membership to lapse.

I’d been aware of a neighbours NC for a number of years. By chance, I saw it advertised for sale earlier this week. Having collected it yesterday, thought it would be rude not to rejoin.

Out of interest, does anyone know of the whereabouts of our previous 5’s:
NA Berkeley R588URA
NB SV-T AY02VFC?

Welcome back, after 10 years! :+1:

Many thanks. Whereabouts in Grampian are you? I lived in Forres many years ago.

Near Inverurie, coincidentally heading up to Morayvia tomorrow so passing through Forres.

An excellent museum. Enjoy.

welcome back. Pretty sure I recall your old NB, about Suffolk, as its an AY02 I guess supplied by Garneys and Hill about the same time as my NB. MOT history says its still on the road, with only 40,600 on the clock, and just doing a few miles a year.

The Berkeley is still about as well, also pretty low mileage at 67,300!

Many thanks. This was our NB

Photo taken at Tesco Haverhill on a club run. I don’t know where it came from originally - we purchased it from Kerridges, Needham Market (sadly, no longer trading).

I’m aware both are still ‘alive’ so to speak, but the Berkeley shows as having a 2967cc engine. Certainly not the case when I had it. Would that even be possible?

Rocketeer V6 conversion?

I had no idea that was a thing but, by the power of Google, I am enlightened.

Must be an exciting drive.
