Well I am pleased to say I am back for my third installment of MX-5 fun. I had a brief interlude from my last one for some RX-8 fuel flushing, but have decided to return to my favourite car of all time. Picked up my 2006 2.0i last week and I have managed to have the top down more often than up - just how I like it.
I am still finding out the various things about the Mk 3, its quite a bit different to my two previous 5’s a Mk2 1.8iS and a late Mk1 1.8iS (essentially the same car). Handling and driving position seem somewhat different, I suspect a trip to get the geometry sorted will be fairly high on the to do list.
Anyway glad to be back, if you’re driving in the Derby area, don’t forget to ‘save the wave’
