Dear all,

Due to the fantastic visit we had here last year, we have arranged with Nick, of “The Wheel Alignment Centre” to return there on Sunday 4th November for a repeat visit to get your tracking expertly checked and aligned, where necessary, using the very latest technology at a 20% discounted rate.

For info, I have only opened this event up to Solent Area, at present but depending on take up, as we have a bit of time yet, I may well open it up to West London & South Central to meet the magic 15 cars if take up is low.

Hi Everyone,

Many thanks for all the responses on this one. All respondees to date (4th Oct), are on the list.

We are currently up to seven cars, so going pretty well and we have a month to go. However, don’t leave it too late if you wish to come long, as the list will close before this date or if max number of cars is reached.

Hi Mal

I read/saw the bit in the diary “last time the new Mk4’s that had little mileage were checked and needed correction, as factory setting are not optimised. Their drivers could really feel the difference from Nick’s services”.

Can you sign me up for getting a check and/or adjustment on 4 November. My MK4 has just done a few more miles - now 12,750 miles.

Hi Simon,

Yes, great you can come along to this, as it is really worthwhile. Last time we visited Nick said the Factory settings are not optimum and thus tyre wear can result. 

Nick does not charge anything for checking but if her has to adjust and thinks it will make a difference to you then the £40 charge applies.

Certainly, Ron found he noticed the difference on his ND.

Dear All,

For info, we are now up to 11 cars for this prestigious event and the max number of cars Nick will accept is 15, so getting there.

Coffee and Biscuits will be provided, so just turn up with your MX5 and you will be all set. 

As per last year, we will meet up at 09:00 onwards at Sainsburys, Hedge End in the car park, adjacent to the petrol station. From there we will leave promptly at 09:20 and make our way down through Bitterne, over the Northam Bridge and on via St Marys to Millbrook, arriving in time for an 09:45 start, as requested by Nick. 

If anyone wishes to go direct to The Wheel Alignment Centre and arrive later and not join the convoy, please let me know by replying to this post. To this end the address is:

Really looking forward to this. I’ve got my MeisterR shocks and a new set of tyres fitted and the handling improvement is already great so I’m looking forward to seeing how much better it can get.

I’m bringing a couple of adjustment bolts with me in case mine are worn but if my car doesn’t need them I’ll be happy to pass them to someone who does
