Hello!
I think this is the 2nd time I have return to the MX5 OC fold as after a daliance with a rather lovely looking (but not so much fun to drive) BMW Z4, I have just purchased a rather nice 2002 NB Sport.
This is my 4th MX5, my previous ones (in order) being a '99 NB, a '95 NA and an '06 NC. Given my budget did not run to an ND to complete the set I settled on my favourite model, but a later Sport model with the LSD and 6 speed box as track days are very much on the agenda.
Happy days!

Some person has made a superb job of refurbing these OEM alloys. That car looks a corker from this callsign. May I just get the dirty 4 letter R word dealt with and respectfully recommend a full chassis/cavity inspection for … well…I’ve a suspicion you may well know! Also has the Not Made of Cheese Tough Guy diff everyone wants that does not shed internal tabs.
Welcome back. You look to have treated yourself to a little belter. Enjoy
All the best,
Guy
I consider my self very lucky to have fallen into an early S-VT Sport when my only criteria was ‘red roadster’.
Welcome back to the fold, I can’t think of a better touring,
track
and ‘unmodified’ competition car for the money.
As had been already said, nice wheels and keep an eye out for the four letter R word.

Welcome Back
Handsome looking NB…but a bit biased towards this model
Delighted to learn you’ve returned from the BMW Z4 to an MX-5
Yep the ND is attractive but like you out of my price range
Besides…I would feel a total betrayal of my NB after we’ve been together for so long [2007]

Your new car looks fabulous! All the best for many happy miles.
Cheers all!
Happy to report zero rust! Had it up on ramps and it’s clearly been looked after.
Needs a wheel alignment and I plan to fit full roll bar, but other than that good to go!
