RF 2018 2.0L sport black suspension

Ok, I have a 2018 sport black RF, so what are my options? I definitely do not want the drop to be more than 30mm, 20mm drop would be better.

I appreciate the extra weight of the retractable hard top, so I guess there are specific springs to account for this (no one wants the rear lower than the front) I also don’t want to compromise the ride too much.
In an ideal world I would like a drop of 20-25mm all round, if poss with lowering springs, (cheaper) no lower at the rear and still a nice ride. Possible?

I’m sure this has been asked many times, thank you in advance for any advice.

Eibach ProLine springs from MX5Parts should fit the bill.

I would buy meisters, get the height you want and keep the original set complete as spares. This saves you the hassle of not achievng what you want with fixed drop springs and uneven ride heights.

Springs are going to be 30mm minimum, so if you want less you may need to go with coilovers.

Been doing a quick search and found these,

says 25-30mm front and 20mm rear which if I have read it correctly would be fine. Not sure if these are the same as Mazda oem? will try and call them tomorrow. Think somebody already mentioned these actually

Use these, no compromise on ride, vast improvement on handing. I had the same car.

Given my time again I would put MeisterRs on it tho. I have them on this and they are awesome! :+1:

Thanks all, looks like i’ll be getting the eibach sport spring as recommended by a couple of you guy’s.
Spoke to MX5 parts who confirmed these will be ok for the extra weight at the rear, and the car will be level all round. No more than 30mm drop.
Thanks
