On the 7th June ourselves and Chris and Helen started our road trip around France, we covered 2265 miles in our 11 day trip, here are some snaps of our trip.
After our crossing from Folkstone to Calais via Eurotunnel this was our first stop over at the fasthotel in Troyes.

A visit to Oradour - Sur- Glane the abandoned French war village. ( just outside Limoges )
Chateau de beugnon, this was a lovely place to stay, real French charm.
Our last stop at Omaha and Utah D Day beaches.
Then it was onto Cherbourg for our return ferry into Portsmouth, a fantastic journey.
Looking forward to Italy next year…well maybe.
