The next meeting of the Cambridge (Milton) Group is only a week away now, and I agreed to make a post on behalf of the Area Coordinators about this one. As it’s a fairly busy time for the White Horse pub in the run-up to Christmas, I agreed to provide them in advance with the number of MX-5 Owners Club attendees and also the number of diners. If you are planning to come to this meet, it would be really helpful if you could you post a response to this thread, and also mention if you plan to eat at the pub or not. An RSVP by this coming weekend would be perfect! The remainder of the meeting details are as below:

We will start the meeting as usual at 20:00 but if you wish to eat we suggest you arrive at 19:00.

I have been advised that there is no need to do another tally-up for the January meet (or thereafter), this is only for the month of December.

The Milton roundabout will be closed overnight due to roadworks. A diversion route will be in place.
Milton roundabout in Cambridge is set to close overnight for five days, while roadworks are carried out. It will be closed from 8pm until 6am between December 8 and December 13.
The closure will allow carriageway resurfacing to take place. Drivers will be able to travel along the A14, B1047 and B1049 instead, and a diversion route will be in place.
An order by Cambridgeshire County Council, for the “temporary prohibition of through traffic”, explains that access will be maintained to properties affected. Emergency services will also be able to use the roundabout.
The order continues: "The proposed order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 8 December 2025 and continue until these works have finished or on the 7 June 2027 whichever is the earlier.
“It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs between 8 December 2025 and 13 December 2025.”
