Not bad for a ‘little’ car.
I remember back in the early 1970s my friend was highly pleased his Coombs-modified 3.8 Mk2 Jag could cruise at 130mph (only!) on the autobahn. That one had the triple-SU D-type head, and it needed the extra 40 gallon tank filling the useless space in the boot over the back-axle, with central Le Mans filler.
It would be nice to be able to check out the ride and handling for myself.
