Sounds like a good day out, we’ll be there.
Come on Fergy what better way to celebrate your birthday than with fish and chips?
Oh and Dee and myself will be there.
OK!! The details are now available for the Brighton Run. We will meet with Bob Pain’s crew at Ockham Common as last year and be there in time for a breakfast butty. If you’re coming please e-mail me and I’ll add you to the list in the first post of this thread. We’ll need to leave (say) Brentwood about 8.00 so possibly meet at the Holiday Inn. Will confirm later.
Can someone tell me the postcode for the Holiday Inn at Brentwood (assuming that’s the NT meeting point?) please. If I don’t take Amy (my satnav) I’ll almost certainly get lost!!
Here are the North Thames meeting point details…
Just a thought for those of us coming from from north of the Thames - don’t forget the Dartford Crossing price has gone up to £1.50.
I suppose we could aim to cross before 6am when it’s now free and park up at Ockham for a snooze! Would this add to your birthday celebrations Fergy?[<:o)]
Nice one, I’d forgotten the toll price had gone up [8-)]
Enjoy yourselves guys the bacon butties are worth the trip alone!
Thanks Graham!
Don’t fancy it yourself? At least you have a nice hardtop to keep you warm!!!
Lol no, I’ve been bitten once by this lot never again, I’m happy to do our own club runs and the national rallies, but after the whole Brands Hatch spat I’m not signing up for more game play. It’s a good run so I hope you enjoy yourselves, and I’m sure they will be happy to know I wont be attending.
Paula and I will definately be coming now Eric; kids football fixtures all arranged and grandparents activated!!!
Brian
Hi Brian
Should be a good day for it i’ve never seen Brighton in the snow !
Les,
Weather forecast looks different wherever you look; BBC news looked very promising this morning but BBC website looks more than a liitle dodgy right now, Accuweather which we normally find reliable is forcasting rain from 11-1ish so I’d say that’ll make it fish’n’chip time!
Hope you repaired your back screen for this run!!!
That sounds good to me ,i’ll leave my speedo’s at home then.
Probably best!
